Description:

Rough Cut follows the intense collision between Gang Pae, a violent second-in-command mafia member with a secret love for cinema, and Su Ta, a short-tempered movie star. Su Ta is notorious for his violent outbursts on set, having already knocked out one actor during a fight scene. After a hostile confrontation between the two at a bar over an autograph, Su Ta critically injures another co-star, bringing his movie production to a complete halt. With no other actors willing to work with him, Su Ta recalls that Gang Pae once worked as a film extra. Desperate to finish the movie, Su Ta contacts the gangster and offers him the co-starring role. Gang Pae agrees to take the part, but on one brutal condition: they must perform all of their movie fight scenes for real. This leads to a gritty showdown where the line between acting and reality is completely shattered.
