In the captivating modern-day fairytale Romantic Prelude, Nojima Satoshi, played by Junichi Okada, is a talented photographer yearning to capture beautiful natural scenery. However, his career is currently tied to his friend Shingo, a model facing a severe professional crisis. Feeling deeply obligated to support his struggling friend, Nojima reluctantly holds back on pursuing his true artistic passion. Meanwhile, living just next door is Nanao Kumiko, portrayed by Kumiko Aso. Kumiko is a dedicated flower shop employee who has poured her entire life into her work, leaving absolutely no room for romance. Although Nojima and Kumiko have never actually met face-to-face, they share a unique, intimate connection. Through the thin apartment wall separating them, they become comforting fixtures in each other’s lives simply by listening to the familiar sounds of their daily routines. As both characters face unexpected life twists, they begin to uncover their deepest desires. On the journey to achieving their dreams, their paths beautifully intersect.
