The drama Robbers follows Dallae, a cheerful and loyal single mother whose life took a tragic turn when her husband, Taeoh, died in a freak mountain accident before their daughter was born. Years later, living with her mother-in-law Sunsum, Dallae is forced onto a blind date with an elderly man. Panicked, she flees and causes a car accident with Ojun. Ojun is a handsome former boxer masquerading as a wealthy fund manager to swindle women and pay off his sister's debts. Seeing Dallae as his next easy target, Ojun attempts to charm her. However, this unsophisticated and down-to-earth woman shows absolutely no interest in his fake persona. This unexpected rejection deeply intrigues Ojun, turning his greedy scheme into a genuine pursuit of true love.
