Description:

Road to Eternity introduces Lam Ka Tung, a brilliant and worldly man who embraces life to its fullest. He deeply loves Chan Miu Ying, but she despises him. Unknown to Lam Ka Tung, his destiny, prophesied by a famed Monk, is to become a monk, fulfilling a noble vow made in past lives to overcome all human hardships. He resists this path until a tragic event transforms Chan Miu Ying into a ghost. To grant her a chance to remain on Earth and achieve her dreams, Lam Ka Tung selflessly accepts his fate, becoming a monk christened Shuet but dak (Speak No More). His arduous mission is to uncover the seven elements of human suffering, the "But Daks." Success promises he can cease being a monk and marry Chan Miu Ying, who will then regain her human form. He is joined by his disciple, Lau Yoke Chui, known as Tam But Dak (Greed No More), who hopes to find her lost husband. Together, they investigate mysterious cases, encounter various challenges, and ultimately discover a profound purpose in life far beyond personal desires and romantic love.
