Road Movie is a poignant drama about three lost souls searching for escape. Daeshik, a homeless man who once dreamed of reaching the Himalayas, lives aimlessly in Seoul. His life crosses paths with Sukwon, a man ruined by stock market losses, and Iljoo, a deeply depressed woman whom Daeshik saves from drowning in the sea. Yearning to flee their painful realities, the three embark on an unplanned road trip with no destination. As they travel together, encountering new people and places, they begin to heal and discover deeper feelings for one another. However, this journey of self-discovery also unearths complicated emotional bonds. Living on the road forces them to confront a difficult obstacle. Ultimately, they must make a heartbreaking choice between their love for each other and the personal freedom they desperately seek.
