Description:

Eighteen-year-old Nawa, a rural boy, grew up intimately connected to the river and the intense world of competitive longboat rowing. His deepest dream was to steer his father's boat to victory at the provincial championship. However, an unforeseen issue abruptly forced Nawa to abandon the sport he loved and separate from his friends.

Years later, Nawa embarks on his first year of university, a new chapter far from his past. There, he encounters Pai, a fellow science major with an unyielding determination to become a rower for the national canoeing team and ultimately compete in the Olympics. Inspired by Pai’s ambition and drive, Nawa feels an undeniable pull back to the water, tentatively picking up a paddle again. By a stroke of happenstance, Nawa joins a university canoeing club, a decision that ignites a powerful journey of self-discovery, allowing him to reconnect with his true self.
