Planet of Snail is a touching story about YoungChan, a deaf-blind man who feels as though he belongs to a slow and quiet world. Struggling to communicate on Earth, his desperate isolation ends when he meets SoonHo, a woman with a spine disability who understands his loneliness. SoonHo becomes his guide and partner, helping YoungChan discover the magic of reading through braille and inspiring his dream of writing a book. However, because of SoonHo's physical limitations, the inseparable couple must eventually face the reality of independence. They must learn to survive alone. In a pivotal moment, while SoonHo anxiously waits at home, YoungChan steps out into the world by himself, embarking on the biggest adventure of his life.
