In "Pink Summer," the life of stubborn young man Shen Jing Yu is upended by a bizarre Chinese Valentine's Day divination. His inescapable destiny is to temporarily share his home with his often-too-cheerful neighbor, Gu Sen He, who has a peculiar habit of always asking, "Are you happy today?" Shen Jing Yu, feeling utterly tormented, dedicates his entire summer vacation to devising elaborate schemes to rid himself of this unwelcome houseguest, whom he privately nicknames the "god of plague." Despite his best efforts, success remains elusive. Curiously, amidst his frustration, subtle and almost inappropriate pink bubbles begin to float, hinting at an unexpected shift in their dynamic. What begins as a torturous cohabitation transforms into a ridiculous and ultimately unforgettable summer, as these two teenagers navigate their strange, intertwined fate.
