In the chilling Korean thriller Phone, reporter Ji Won finds herself in grave danger after exposing a shocking sex scandal. What begins as threatening phone calls quickly escalates into physical danger, forcing Ji Won to relocate to a new home with the assistance of her close friend Ho Jeong. Hoping to leave the terror behind, Ji Won changes her mobile number to one ending in the digits 6644. However, this change only triggers a new nightmare. Soon, terrifying and supernatural occurrences begin to haunt both Ji Won and her young daughter. Driven to uncover the truth behind these bizarre events, the determined reporter launches an investigation into the history of her new phone number. What she uncovers is deeply disturbing. Ji Won learns that the previous two owners of the number ending in 6644 met grim fates, having either died or vanished under highly mysterious circumstances. Now, she must solve the mystery before she and her daughter become the next victims.
