"Parasite in Love" delves into the lives of two intensely isolated individuals seeking connection. Kengo Kosaka, a young man plagued by extreme mysophobia and a severe compulsive disorder, finds it impossible to maintain any relationship, leading to profound loneliness. His world unexpectedly converges with that of Hijiri Sanagi, a high school student suffering from scopophobia, an overwhelming fear of being stared at that prevents her from attending school.

Both Kengo and Hijiri had given up on the idea of finding love or companionship, believing their conditions made it impossible. Yet, defying all expectations, they meet and slowly, deeply fall in love, finding solace and understanding in their shared vulnerability. Their initial days together are filled with an unprecedented sense of happiness and belonging. However, their unique and fragile love story soon faces unforeseen challenges, threatening to unravel the happiness they fought so hard to find.
