Description:

Papa & Daddy explores Damian's long-held dream of creating a family. After two years in a loving, stable relationship with his boyfriend Jie Li, the couple embarks on a life-changing surrogacy journey. Their heartfelt wish is fulfilled with the arrival of their son, Kai Kai, beautifully completing their home. As Kai Kai enters kindergarten, new challenges emerge. He begins to notice differences among his peers, facing innocent questions about not having a mother, while Damian and Jie Li also contend with the subtle curiosities and gossip from other parents. The film explores the tender and vital task facing the two fathers: navigating how to lovingly explain the concept of a "mother" to their young son, all while reaffirming the strength and unique bond of their chosen family.
