Our Dating Sim (Movie) tells the story of two inseparable school friends, Lee Wan and Shin Gi Tae, whose bond is shattered by a heartfelt confession. Lee Wan secretly harbored romantic feelings for Shin Gi Tae, and upon revealing them, was met with rejection that sent him fleeing to start a new life. Seven years later, destiny intervenes when Lee Wan, now an illustrator, attends an interview at a gaming firm. The company is developing a dating-themed game, and to his astonishment, Lee Wan comes face-to-face with Shin Gi Tae, who is a team leader there. Now, these former best friends are compelled to work closely together despite their painful past.
