Our Body centers on Ja Young, an overeducated woman whose ambition has waned after enduring multiple failures in the grueling public official exam. Burdened by disenchantment and external pressure, her life lacks direction. One lonely evening, she encounters the captivating Hyun Joo, a beautiful and fit runner who glides by with effortless grace. Intrigued by this harmonious vision, Ja Young repeatedly returns to the same location, driven by a desire to understand her curiosity. She eventually begins to jog herself, a new endeavor that gradually alleviates the immense pressure she has felt, reigniting vitality in her life. This renewed energy also leads Ja Young to secure a part-time job. However, the film hints that Hyun Joo's life, despite its outward appearance of perfection, is not without its own challenges, promising a deeper exploration of both women's journeys.
