In the romantic comedy One Night Stud, independent architect Vonnie, played by Jiang Yan, desires a child but wants nothing to do with marriage, believing a single life is the key to happiness. By chance, she meets Charles, a popular presenter played by Zheng Kai, who is instantly charmed by her. However, Charles has no idea that Vonnie is only using him for his genetics.
