"On Our Way" delves into the forgotten struggles within Keelung, Taiwan, a port city that once thrived but now faces decline. With prosperity fading, the most vulnerable citizens are left to navigate life alone: the homeless, the mentally challenged, neglected children, and undocumented elderly from China. Their desperate pleas from the back alleys pierce the heart of Huang Xiu Yan. Inspired by their suffering, Huang rallies a group of like-minded friends. Together, they embark on a journey of compassion, reaching out to these weaker members of society. Their dedicated efforts bring much-needed love and hope, shining a vital light into lives previously shrouded in darkness.
