Description:

A young novelist, Shinichi, struggles with a stalled career and the gloom of a recent breakup. His solitary existence is upended when Yuko, the ex-wife of a friend, and her son move into his home, seeking refuge. An uneasy cohabitation begins, marked by their divergent nightly routines: Shinichi dedicates himself to writing, while Yuko, grappling with deep loneliness, ventures out to date. She strives to project strength for her son, who, missing his absent father, unexpectedly finds a figure to admire in Shinichi. Despite their close proximity, Shinichi and Yuko meticulously maintain their emotional distance, each silently battling personal demons. Yet, one fateful night, their carefully constructed barriers inevitably begin to crumble, leading to an unforeseen shift in their complex relationship.
