Nemureru Mori no Jukujo tells the story of Senba Aizawa, played by Tamiyo Kusakari, a forty-six-year-old housewife whose quiet life is suddenly upended. Before getting married, she worked at a bank but resigned to focus on her family. Her life changes completely when her husband, Yuichi Haba, asks for a divorce so he can marry his first love, Yoko Moriguchi, whom he reconnected with on Facebook.
