In the sci-fi mystery Nazo no Tenkousei, Tozaiyama High School second-year students Iwata Koichi and Kagawa Midori experience their lives turning upside down after witnessing a strange shooting star rising into the night sky. Shortly after, Midori spots a glowing, ghost-like figure on the school grounds, sparking rumors among the students. The mystery deepens when a mysterious transfer student named Yamazawa Norio suddenly joins their class and moves in right next door to Koichi. Whenever Norio is nearby, bizarre and inexplicable phenomena begin to occur around Koichi. As these strange events escalate, Koichi and Midori must unravel the truth behind their new classmate.
