The suspense thriller movie Mystery follows Lu Jie, a woman whose seemingly perfect life with her businessman husband, Yongzhao, and their young daughter is shattered in an instant. Her world turns upside down when she catches Yongzhao entering a hotel with a young woman. Suspecting a betrayal, Lu Jie is consumed by doubt. However, the situation takes a dark and deadly turn just hours later when a young woman is tragically struck and killed by a car on a highway. What initially appears to be a tragic hit-and-run soon becomes a complicated investigation. A diligent police officer looking into the fatal crash begins to suspect that the woman’s sudden death was not a mere accident.
