My Girlfriend is An Agent is an exciting action-comedy movie about two secret agents trying to save the world from a major threat. When a Russian organized crime group plans to steal an advanced chemical weapon from Korea, two secret agents are deployed to stop them. Ahn Sooji, played by Kim Haneul, is a highly skilled veteran agent and martial arts master. On the other hand, Lee Jaejoon, played by Kang Jihwan, is a clumsy rookie agent who always goofs up on the field. Complicating matters, the two agents are actually ex-lovers who split up because Sooji lied to hide her secret identity. Years later, they coincidentally bump into each other on the job. While keeping their spy identities secret from one another, they must navigate their chaotic past relationship. As they go behind each other's backs to complete their missions, they must find a way to stop the criminals and save the day.
