In the classic romance drama My Girl, Gong Chan, played by Lee Dong Wook, is on a mission to find his grandfather's missing cousin. When he crosses paths with the lively and beautiful Yoo Rin, portrayed by Lee Da Hae, he discovers she has connections to the lost relative. Desperate for a solution, Gong Chan asks Yoo Rin to lie and pretend to be his missing cousin until he can track down the real one. She agrees to the scheme, but their fake relationship quickly complicates as genuine feelings begin to grow between them. Things get even more chaotic when Gong Chan's close friend Jung Woo, played by Lee Joon Ki, falls in love with Yoo Rin. At the same time, Gong Chan's ex-girlfriend Seo Hyun, a professional tennis player played by Park Si Yeon, resurfaces to win him back.
