Description:

"Mountain Doctor" delves into the life of Miyamoto Ayumu, a young orthopedic surgeon who returns to his roots in Nagano Prefecture, accepting a position at a general hospital. Beyond his typical surgical responsibilities, Ayumu is assigned to the critical mountain medical treatment team. This specialized unit is dedicated to providing care for individuals who fall ill or sustain injuries while navigating the mountains, demanding that its members possess comprehensive knowledge of both medicine and mountaineering. Initially, Ayumu shows little passion for his duties with this challenging team. Yet, his outlook begins to transform as he immerses himself in their vital work. Also at the hospital is Emori Gakuto, a proficient circulatory physician and a fellow member of the mountain medical team. Despite his professional abilities, Emori is quietly battling personal trauma from his past, striving to conquer it while fulfilling his life-saving role.
