The movie Montage delivers a gripping crime thriller about a cold case that suddenly turns hot. Fifteen years ago, a notorious kidnapper vanished without a trace. Just five days before the statute of limitations expires, a mysterious flower is left at the crime scene. Soon after, another kidnapping occurs using the exact same method on a similar target. To crack the case before time runs out, an unlikely trio teams up. This desperate alliance includes Uhm Junghwa, a mother who has spent fifteen years searching for her daughter's abductor; Song Youngchang, a grieving grandfather who witnessed his granddaughter's abduction right in front of him; and Kim Sangkyung, a detective with a guilty conscience who pours everything into this unsolved case. Together, they enter a high-stakes race against the clock to catch the elusive criminal and finally bring justice to light.
