Misaeng: Incomplete Life tells the gripping story of Jang Geu Rae, a young man who has played the game of Go since childhood. When his dreams of becoming a professional Go player shatter, the down-and-out Geu Rae is forced to enter the corporate world. Thanks to an acquaintance's recommendation, he secures an internship at a large company named One International. On his very first day, Geu Rae meets An Yeong Yi, an eager fellow intern, and the highly ambitious employee Jang Baek Ki. Together, they try to find their footing while attempting to please their new boss, Section Chief Oh Sang Shik. However, they quickly realize their department is uniquely different from the others. Facing constant corporate challenges, Jang Geu Rae does his best to survive his new job. Throughout this intense journey, he fights hard to succeed without losing his humanity along the way.
