Minna! ESPer Dayo! is an exciting live-action drama adapted from a popular manga, set in the town of Higashimikawa in Ehime prefecture. The story follows Kamogawa Yoshiro, an average teenager with no special talents, whose life changes overnight when he suddenly gains the power to hear other people's thoughts. Yoshiro soon discovers that Hayashi sensei harbors ulterior motives toward the new transfer student, Asami Sae. Deeply admiring Asami, Yoshiro decides to use his newfound telepathic abilities to protect her and ultimately save the world. He soon realizes he is not the only one with special powers. At his favorite local cafe, Yoshiro finds out that his childhood friend Hirano Miyuki and the cafe owner Nagano Terumitsu have also acquired supernatural abilities. Meanwhile, as news of the townspeople gaining powers spreads, a mysterious teacher and his assistant decide to move to Higashimikawa, sparking new mysteries in this supernatural comedy.
