Metro of Love is a captivating anthology series of six Chinese-language films that explore the diverse facets of modern love stories against the vibrant backdrop of Taipei. Initiated by acclaimed Taiwanese filmmaker Yeh Tienlun, this collaborative project connects six promising directors, including Sean Kao, Gavin Lin, Lin Chunyang, Lee Chingjung, and Kitamura Toyoharu. Each film is uniquely set around a key station of the Taipei metro network, including Tamsui, Xinbeitou, Daqiaotou, Ximen, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, and Zhongxiao Fuxing.

From romantic encounters to emotional journeys, these stories highlight the unique ways people connect in the bustling city. Yeh Tienlun directs two films in the series, including a heartfelt story set in Ximen starring Kuo Shuyao, Lee Lijen, and Yang Kueimei, written by Gisele Yeh. Another segment features Bianca Bai near the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. Together, these films offer a beautiful, multi-layered exploration of romance and destiny along the transit lines of Taipei.
