Meteor Rain explores three deeply emotional chapters focusing on the individual journeys of Mei Zuo, Xi Men, and Dao Ming Si. In Mei Zuo's chapter, he meets Ai Sha, a Japanese girl struggling to survive in Taiwan. After she pickpockets him, they form an unlikely bond and practice for a televised dance contest to help find her grandmother, hinting at romance.
