Meteor Garden follows Shan Cai, a student from a humble background who attends Ying De University, an elite private school established exclusively for wealthy students. She quickly becomes the target of classmates and angers Dao Ming Si, the leader of F4. This elite group, consisting of Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men, and Mei Zuo, represents the school's wealthiest founding families. Unlike everyone else, Shan Cai bravely stands up to Dao Ming Si, sparking his deep interest despite his harsh treatment of her.
