In Memoirs of a Lady Ninja, viewers are plunged into a world of shadow and steel. Hijiri, a fierce and cold-blooded blue-eyed ninja assassin, defends her territory with lethal precision. Her deadly skills are put to the test when she encounters a thief seeking the scroll of esoteric immortality inside the treasure house of the Christian daimyo Rokusha. After a brutal sword fight, a wounded Hijiri is rescued by Seitaro, a gentle Christian man. As they spend time together, the cold-blooded assassin and her savior begin falling for each other. However, their fleeting happiness is threatened by the Dainichi Shinkyo. Openly critical of Christianity, which they view as a bad foreign religion, this hostile group weaves dark intrigues to eliminate both Hijiri and the Christians. Hijiri must now use her assassin skills to protect her love and survive the deadly conspiracies.
