Master Of Play is a gripping psychological thriller following Kan Siu Nam, a renowned stage actor whose life shatters after his daughter goes missing, leading to his divorce from Mok Lai Hing. Consumed by grief, Siu Nam buries himself in his theater work. However, after portraying a murderer on stage, he is drawn into a bizarre real-life serial killer case. During the investigation, he encounters his colleague Lee Chor Kiu, her boyfriend Jeung Sai Yin, and Yin's sister, Jeung Sai Ting. As Siu Nam interacts with them, he realizes Yin bears a striking resemblance to the serial killer suspect, while harboring abnormal feelings toward Ting. Bound by a web of controversial relationships, the four become deeply entangled. Desperate to uncover the truth behind the serial killer case, Siu Nam digs deeper, only to find himself drifting further from reality.
