Description:

Manhattan Love Story is a charming romantic comedy set in Manhattan, a specialty coffee shop located next to Chuo TV. The quiet owner, known simply as Master, is deeply passionate about brewing the perfect cup of coffee, often communicating only through his waiter Shinobu Gamo. To his dismay, customers ignore his craft, using his shop as a dramatic backdrop for proposals and breakups instead. The romantic chaos peaks when taxi driver Nobuko Akabane douses dance instructor Hideki Bessho with hot coffee over a lost mobile phone. Wanting Nobuko to finally appreciate his coffee, Master decides to help her love life. However, this sparks a chain reaction of romantic mishaps. Soon, Master is entangled in the messy love affairs of screenwriter Maki Chikura, voice actor Satoshi Doigaki, announcer Shiori Emoto, actor Eiichiro Funakoshi, and even Gamo. Eventually, even the Master finds himself falling in love, making this cozy cafe the ultimate stage for romance.
