Lovers' Kiss delves into the intricate dynamics of adolescent romance and self-discovery. Rikako, a twelfth-grade student, habitually spends her nights with her close friend Miki. Her seemingly carefree world is shaken when she encounters and becomes deeply infatuated with Tomoaki, a notorious figure in school, widely whispered to be a Don Juan, even linked to a past pregnancy and abortion in his father's hospital. Rikako, who also engages in casual relationships, remains unfazed by his reputation and boldly pursues him. However, Tomoaki, seeing through her initial superficial interest, pushes her away. It's only after Rikako learns of Tomoaki's impending departure from school to move to Okinawa that she makes a genuine effort to understand his true self. This pivotal moment transforms their interaction, leading them to forge an unexpectedly profound and intimate bond.
