Description:

The provocative drama Love Exposure follows Yu, the son of a Catholic priest who loses his faith after his mother passes away. Obsessed with sin, his father demands genuine confessions, forcing the desperate teenager to become an actual sinner. Yu masters the bizarre, stealthy art of taking upskirt photographs, quickly becoming a full-fledged pornographer to satisfy his father's demands for confessions. However, everything changes when Yu, dressed in drag as Sasori, encounters Yoko, played by Hikari Mitsushima. After helping her fight off a group of men, Yu instantly falls in love. Their budding romance takes a dark and complicated turn with the arrival of Aya, portrayed by Sakura Ando. This giggling, parakeet-stroking villainess is a manipulative agent of a cult known as the Zero Church. Aya begins to scheme against the star-crossed lovers, dragging Yu and Yoko into a chaotic web of manipulation and religious obsession.
