Love Cheque Charge is a captivating romantic drama that begins when a tragic accident unexpectedly entwines the lives of two complete strangers. When Buo Hai, played by Xie Kun Da, is involved in an accident, he desperately asks a stranger, Ho Bu Fan, played by George Hu, to deliver a breakup message to his girlfriend, Hsu Man Man, played by Yuan Ai Fei. Witnessing her immense heartbreak, Ho Bu Fan makes an impulsive promise. He writes on a traveler's check that if she remains unmarried by age thirty, she can leave her future to him. Three years pass and the incident is forgotten until Hsu Man Man and Ho Bu Fan suddenly cross paths again on a train.
