Love At Sarangbang is a delightful romantic comedy and a modern update of Shin Sang-oks remarkable 1961 classic film. The story revolves around Hae Joo, a beautiful, simpleminded young widow making a living by renting out a room and selling flowers in a small rural village. While her beauty attracts local bachelors like her longtime admirer Sung Chil, Hae Joos heart belongs to her new tenant, Duk Geun. He is a tall, handsome veterinarian from Seoul, but secretly a wretched swindler looking for easy cash. Initially annoyed by Hae Joos bold advances, Duk Geuns attitude changes completely when he discovers her secret one million-dollar bank account. Suddenly, the con artist uses every trick in the book to win her over. However, this seemingly naive widow is not to be underestimated. Will his greedy schemes succeed, or will she outsmart him?
