In the martial arts drama Lofty Waters Verdant Bow, Jin Shiyi leaves Snake Island for the Central Plains following his late teacher’s passing. He seeks Lü Si Niang of the Mang Shan Sect to deliver a letter and cure a poison threatening his life. However, the innocent Shiyi is mistaken for a Beggars Sect member, dragging him into intense battles with Shaolin Monks. He soon crosses paths with Li Shengnan, a deadly assassin sent by Simen Muyi, and Gu Zhihua, Lü Si Niang’s disciple. Tragedy strikes when Lü Si Niang dies saving Shiyi, leaving her sect to believe he is the murderer. As Shiyi wanders with Zhihua, a vengeful yet secretly in love Shengnan joins them, sparking a tense love triangle. Their journey leads to Volcano Island to find a precious manual, but Zhihua is captured by Meng Shen Tong, who acquires demonic power. Returning to a chaotic Central Plains, Shiyi and Shengnan must unite to defeat Meng Shen Tong and Simen Muyi.
