Description:

Living delves into the complex return of Kao Jia Yue, a defeated man who comes back home after many years, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere among his relatives. Only his young nephew, Cheng Yu, perceives Jia Yue differently. As Jia Yue observes his family, he realizes everyone, including himself, grapples with life's relentless challenges. His parents navigate an unhappy marriage, his second brother, Jia Yang, feels like an outsider, and his third brother struggles with future uncertainties. Despite these deeply personal battles, they persistently stumble forward, embodying resilience. Witnessing their raw determination to survive, Jia Yue begins to plan his own next steps. However, tragedy strikes when Jia Yang dies in an accident, forcing the family to confront immense loss while still striving to find their own meaning in living.
