He begins crafting a tale about a spirited young woman, Qiao Duo Duo, who unexpectedly falls for a normal man.

His creative journey takes a surreal turn when a mysterious woman arrives at his doorstep, demanding to stay. Xu De Zhi is utterly astonished to discover that this assertive newcomer is Qiao Duo Duo herself, the female lead he is currently writing into existence. As they are forced to live together, sharing the mundane and the unexpected, the boundaries between the writer's fiction and his reality start to dissolve. Without realizing it, the writer and his muse gradually find themselves falling deeply in love, echoing the very romance he was struggling to imagine.
