Description:

The universe faces peril from a demonic cult led by Tongtian Jiaozhu. The Jade Emperor dispatches Immortal Donghua to assemble the legendary Eight Immortals team. After recruiting five members, Donghua reincarnates as Lü Dongbin to hasten the search for the remaining two and lead the group. Lü Dongbin struggles with forbidden romantic entanglements, defying Heaven's laws. He is then cursed by Tongtian Jiaozhu, causing him to lose his senses and go rogue. Tongtian Jiaozhu is later betrayed and killed by his follower, Pangolin, who absorbs his formidable powers. Pangolin, infatuated with He Xiangu, shrewdly manipulates the Eight Immortals, creating discord among them and with other deities. Ultimately, the united Eight Immortals unleash their combined strengths to defeat Pangolin and the evil forces, restoring lasting peace to the universe.
