Aspiring artist Feng Xue feels his talents are wasted working on Bai Ze's comic project, "The Legend of Demon Sea." To combat his frustration, Feng secretly creates "Legend of the Demon Seal," a personal comic where an alchemy master's adventures cleverly parallel his own challenging daily grind. He uses this creative outlet to take artistic revenge, drawing his colleagues and boss into hilariously unflattering scenes.

The story takes a turn when Bai Ze discovers Feng's unauthorized version, seeing himself depicted in a less-than-ideal light. Surprisingly, Bai Ze is not angered but praises Feng Xue's originality and decides to present the new draft to his own boss. This act, however, introduces Bai Ze to the same workplace frustrations Feng endures, challenging him to make a difficult choice between what he truly believes in and the demands of his job. This shift in perspective transforms their professional relationship and the potential future of their artistic endeavors.
