Sweet Munchies follows Park Jin Sung, the owner of a charming late-night restaurant. He delights in customizing appetizers to perfectly match his customers' drink selections, aiming to offer warmth and comfort through his culinary creations. His greatest happiness stems from seeing diners enjoy their meals. Persuaded by a loyal patron, Park takes on the role of host for a new variety show called "Midnight Snack Couple," which quickly brings him widespread fame.

The show's passionate PD, Kim Ah Jin, an optimistic food enthusiast, finally gets her big break by convincing Park to join. As "Midnight Snack Couple" gains momentum, successful fashion designer Kang Tae Wan comes aboard as Park's stylist. Working closely amidst the glitz of television, the three individuals find their lives intertwined in an atypical and emotionally complex love triangle.
