Last Money: Ai no Nedan follows Mukojima Sakutaro, who works at Seiwa Lifes Insurance Assessment Department. Alongside investigator Kisaragi Hiro, Mukojima probes complicated cases ranging from murders for insurance money to hospital scams. His life becomes more complex at the funeral of his company senior, Yokomura Kazuki, when he notices a mysterious woman in mourning clothes, Sasakura Akiko.
