Set in Cheongju, the storied Bongmyeong Jugong Apartments, a first-generation housing complex built in the 80s, faces imminent demolition. After being designated a maintenance area in 2008, the community endured a decade-long struggle to select a constructor, a period during which residents clung to hopes of halting the redevelopment. However, with construction finally beginning in 2019, their cherished gardens and trees are being cut down, and families are reluctantly moving out one by one. As this beloved landmark slowly disappears, a poignant narrative unfolds. People drawn by nostalgia and a desire to preserve history visit the apartments, eager to document and remember the unique spirit of Bongmyeong Jugong before it vanishes forever.
