Lady Vengeance is a gripping South Korean thriller about Lee Geumja, played by Lee Yeongae, who seeks both revenge and redemption after spending thirteen years in prison. Convicted in her early twenties for a kidnapping and murder she did not commit, Geumja confessed under duress but never stopped dreaming of clearing her name. Upon her release, she sets out to settle the score with those who wronged her, including the police officer Nam Ilwoo and Mr. Baek, played by Choi MinSik, a teacher who betrayed her. To achieve her goals, Geumja reunites with cellmates she aided in prison, including Woo Soyeong, Kim Buseon, Oh Suheui, Ra Miran, and the eccentric Preacher Jeon, played by Kim Byeongok. While Preacher Jeon helps her search for spiritual salvation, her other loyal allies assist in her quest for vengeance and the search for the daughter she had to leave behind.
