In Kyuumei Byoto 24 Ji S5, Dr. Kaede Kojima, played by Matsushima Nanako, is the newly appointed staff leader at Minato University Hospital's Emergency and Critical Care Center. While Kaede is highly precise in her duties, her distant attitude creates awkward relationships among the staff, leaving many to question why Hospital Director Tooru Mogami, played by Danta Yasunori, chose her. Tempers flare when a patient's family cancels a donor transplant, drawing heavy criticism from Yasuhiro Sugiyoshi, played by Tezuka Toru. In response, Tooru Mogami brings in transplant specialist Dr. Mamoru Natsume, played by Tokito Saburo. However, personal conflicts must be set aside when disaster strikes. Following a wave of stabbings and a massive explosion, the emergency center is overwhelmed with victims. Without proper teamwork or communication, the doctors face utter chaos as they struggle to save lives.
