To escape being constantly molested by her stepfather, Samantha Julie Estelle decides to move into a secluded boarding house located in a notoriously haunted area. Rumours say that the Kuntilanak, a malevolent she-demon, lives in a hundreds of years old tree near the house. Her boyfriend, Agung Evan Sanders, tries to warn her about the supernatural dangers, but Samantha pays no attention to his pleas. Soon, the dark entity awakens, and people around her begin to die tragic deaths one by one. The terror escalates further when Agung himself mysteriously disappears. Trapped in a nightmare, Samantha must confront the terrifying power of the Kuntilanak. Will she find Agung and survive the curse, or will she become the next victim of the ancient she-demon?
