Based on the acclaimed novel by Miyabe Miyuki, the movie Kou Jin delivers a gripping tale of survival and betrayal. The story begins when a young boy is viciously attacked by a giant monster. Terribly injured, he manages to flee to a nearby village where Akane lives, warning the residents of the approaching terror. As panic spreads among the frightened villagers, Akane Sakakida Soei and Kikuchi Enshu desperately look for a way to protect their village from destruction. However, the threat is not just external.
