The Kotaki Brothers, Ichiro and Jiro, are struggling with poverty but approach life from completely different angles. Ichiro, the elder brother, is a serious and practical man, constantly worried about their financial woes. His younger brother, Jiro, however, is an optimist with an unconventional spirit, leading him to launch a unique "rental father/uncle" service.

This quirky new business aims to provide temporary family figures to clients facing various life challenges. As Jiro's service gains traction, the brothers find themselves dealing with an array of often humorous and sometimes poignant issues brought forth by their diverse clientele.
