Description:

Kinkyu Torishirabeshitsu is a gripping police drama following Yukiko Makabe, an expert negotiator who is transferred to the special interrogation team known as Kintori. After a failed negotiation with a bus hijacker, Yukiko takes full responsibility for the mishap. She is reassigned to Kintori, led by her boss Katsutoshi Kajiyama, with whom she shares a difficult past. Working alongside her new coworkers Susumu Hishimoto, Zenjiro Nakata, and Haruo Koishikawa, Yukiko must quickly adapt to her new role. The team faces a high-stakes challenge when a police officer dies in a substation explosion caused by a cookie can. Detectives Tetsuji Watanabe and Daijiro Kenmotsu link the crime to a man wearing leather gloves, identifying him as Fujishiro, a prominent attorney specializing in miscarriage of justice cases. During a tense interrogation by Kintori, Fujishiro vehemently denies involvement. The mystery deepens further when another man suddenly turns himself in, claiming responsibility for the explosion.
