In the romantic comedy Khoobsurat, Milli Chakravarty, a quirky and clumsy physiotherapist played by Sonam Kapoor, is hired to treat a disabled King in the royal Sambhalgarh palace. Her lively and casual personality immediately clashes with the rigid Queen Nirmala Devi Rathore and the cold Prince Vikram Singh Rathore, played by Fawad Khan. As Milli struggles to fit into their highly disciplined lifestyle, she uncovers a tragic past: the family shut down emotionally after losing their eldest son in a car accident. Determined to help, Milli brings joy back to the palace, helping the King walk again and guiding his younger sister Divya. Along the way, Milli and Prince Vikram fall in love, despite his engagement to Kiara. Although family conflicts temporarily drive Milli away, Vikram realizes his true feelings. He breaks off his engagement, wins the approval of Milli's mother Manju, and proposes. Ultimately, Milli is welcomed into the royal family as the beloved Royal Misfit.
